Future Proof Finance is a Mortgage & Investment Intermediary and was set in January 2013. We believe Financial Planning is not just for the wealthy and is a subject that needs to be introduced into our schools. Children need to have an understanding of finance and how to plan their future. We identified a gap in the Life Assurance and Pension market for solid Financial Planning and annual service. We work with our clients on partnership basis providing continuous advice and ongoing service. The interests of our clients are paramount to us. We work closely with clients to ensure their policies are matched to their needs at all stages of their life cycle.
It became apparent in to us in 2008 and in the years that followed that the business model for a lot of brokerages and banks was not working. We spoke to hundreds of people who had not had a conversation with any adviser about their pension in many years. This is partly due to poor bank assurance model and life assurance companies structures and upfront commission. With this in mind we want to work with you in a way that is mutually beneficial. We would like to think that our clients are better off for having a relationship with us.
Our mission is simplify financial planning and get more people interested in finance and the security it provides. Money is just a tool and if used properly is beneficial on many different levels. Our income is derived from fee's, commission or mixture of both. Our preference is to work with clients on a partnership basis, meaning payment is made on an Assets Under Management AUM basis. Therefore it is in the best interests of Future Proof Finance to grow our clients wealth. All fees and payment schedules are 100% transparent with no hidden costs.

Stephen has been working within the insurance Industry for over 15 years. He went into Financial Services in 2007. Before setting up Future Proof Finance Stephen worked as a Financial Adviser for a couple of Life Assurance & Mortgage brokerages based in Dublin. In 2011 whilst working as a Tied Agent for Canada Life Stephen graduated from the LIA and received his Qualified Financial Adviser QFA, recently Graduated with a Diploma in Financial Services from the institute of Bankers in 2021 and went on pass the Certified Finincial Planner exam with the Financial Planning Standards Board.
